Panelists
Pardiss Kebriaei, Senior Staff attorney at CCR, focuses on challenging government abuses post 9/11, including "Targeted Killing" programs and unjust detentions in the federal system and at Guantanamo.
Professor Ramzi Kassem, Director of CUNY's Immigrant & Non-Citizen Rights Clinic (INRC), represents men presently and formerly held at Guantanamo Bay. He also supervises CUNY's "Creating Law Enforcement Accountability & Responsibility" (CLEAR) project.
Shelby Sullivan & Humbert Wong, Third-year law students at CUNY, Ms. Sullivan and Mr. Wong are involved with both the law & security docket of INRC and the CUNY-CLEAR project. As student attorneys, they assist Professor Kassem on Guantanamo cases and also represent clients through CUNY-CLEAR.
