CCR Executive Director Vince Warren joins Mechthild Prinz, forensic expert and associate professor at John Jay College, on The Brian Leher Show to discuss the arrest of a suspect in Karina Vetrano's murder, and how a controversial tool called familial DNA was denied to investigators throughout the process. They weigh in on possible constitutional issues surrounding this technique.
"The fact that it could lead to better identification of suspects is not the end of the inquiry," says Warren. "The question is: what is the cost that we willing to give up as a community and a society to allow that to happen?"
